We were lucky enough to have Dr. Michael Salinger in the emergency room at Evanston when we met him in November 2012. Dr. Salinger was thorough, helpful, generous with his knowledge & instilled in us a great deal of confidence in his decisions & ability. We particularly appreciated his even keeled demeanor & his forthright nature. Dr Salinger seemed personable & human, and all together honest with a light touch of humour that was enough to take our edge off after my brother's heart attack. I could tell that he was well respected within the hospital when I was escorted to the cardiac cath lab and the nurse said that we had the best doctor taking care of us without any questioning from me. It's not easy to hear the hard truths of your mortality after you have had a heart attack but Dr. Salinger made a very tough day survivable- both physically & emotionally- with his caring demeanor. I don't know if you will ever see this, but Thank You Dr. Salinger! We strongly recommend Dr Salinger.
