Dr. Block is technically excellent with a wonderful bedside manner. I've been looking for a long time and it is very hard to find that combination in a oncologist. She takes the time to answer questions and is comfortable with email, which for me is a great plus. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to do so. She's excellent.

Dr. Block is knowledgeable, but her social skills leave a lot to be desired. She is not all that helpful answering questions and gives the impression that she just can't wait to get thru the appointment. All this after having to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to see her. The waits are just atrocious! Office staff can also feel very cold at times.

I love Dr Block. I've been her patient for more than 10 years. She's thoughtful, knowledgeable and extremely responsive.

cold, insensitive, extremely unhelpful when dealing with serious illness,very poor bedside manner, avoided visiting patient in hospital, we had a great deal of difficulty getting her to truthfully state the patient's condition, doesn't seem to care about her patients, poor follow-up, doesn't communicate with patient's other doctors effectively ,didn't notify the primary care physician that the patient had died .We did not feel that she was an advocate for us in any way.
