Dr Pratty has shown care and compassion for all of my psychiatric needs and works in conjunction with my therapist. He correctly adjusted my medication and monitored the correct dosage to get the desired results. He is very knowledgeable and caring. Some other things that I like is that he communicates regularly with my primary doctor and tends to always run on time. I even referred my cousin to him.

This doctor in conjunction with my regular psychiatrist have ruined my life. I have PTSD and have never fully recovered from his abusive nature. He is a very mean and disgusting individual who should not be practicing medicine. I was a terrified pregnant woman who was forced to take medications against my will. My daughter has several medical problems including developmental disabilities. Never ever let this doctor near you or your loved ones.

Worst doctor ever arrogant and incompetent insurance parents staff from a level 12 facility and staff at college of cerritos asked him not to release this child his arrogance and lack of professionalism took over Thank god a RN from College hospital took action and kept her there after hearing the same arguments Dr Pratty did the patient was to be sent back home after making death threats against a 4 year old SHAME ON YOU Dr PRATTY

He has a GREAT sense of humor, knows the 12-Step programs, is a no BS kind of man - he tells it like it is; you always know where you stand with Dr. Pratty. Even though is very well known in So. Cal., he never treats me "less than". He is professional while not making me feel ashamed of my condition or talking down to me. I would recommend any child, adolescent or adult to Dr. Pratty. His dementia program is now helping with my mom who suffers from Alzheimer's.

I can recommend this MD without any reservation. He he has helped me deal with my longstanding anxiety and panic attacks and has helped me get on medication that is controlling my OCD like never before. I look forward to my sessions with him. He asked to have a family session with my husband and also asked me to sign authorizing him to be able to speak with my family doctor. He has gone above and beyond. Once my depression stabilized he assisted me in gradually coming off all my medications so that I could safely get pregnant. I'm now back on medication and safely breast feeding our baby. Dr. Pratty is a wonderful doctor and a very kind and gentle spirit.

I was recently discharged from the hospital where he was my attending Psychiatrist and if it was not for him I would still be dealing with out of control bipolar depression. He in a short time got all my previous doctors records and even spoke to my family physician. He had me sign a consent and he even got a list from the pharmacy of all the previous meds I had been on most of which did not work. I learned that one med that I was taking had to be taken with food to get the full effect, he taught me this, I was never told this before. The hospital is a loud place and the food is not the best, but the doctor was over the top excellent.

Can't agree more with the comments below. He is a very bright guy who helped me deal with both my drug issues and my ADD. He is compassionate at many have said and his staff is over the top carrying and efficient. Look no further for a Psychiatrist with great knowledge of addiction.

He really takes his time with you and listens to what you are saying and feeling. He has always been very kind, attentive, compassionate and helpful. He has never condescending even with some very personal things that I share. I really trust this MD.

Just had my second visit with him. He reviewed all my old records and offered to discuss my treatment plan and my wife the first visit. Between visits he connected with my primary care physician to make sure they were both on the same page. I highly recommend him. He is compassionate and explained my care to me in a way that many doctors that I have seen fail to do. I am thankful to the friend that recommended me to him.
