I visited the ED for what I believed was a case of cellulitis and by luck of the draw, was seen by Dr. Tadros. I have a very complicated medical history which makes diagnosis of new symptoms challenging. After reviewing the history and examining my leg, Dr. Tadros concluded that it was likely cellulitis. Since the ultra sound dept. was closed on the day of the visit, she prescribed antibiotics and requested that I return the next day for a vascular ultrasound or earlier if it got worse.

On the way in to the ED on the second day, she waved in recognition and indicated that she would be right in. She was in the exam room before the nurse had completed by second day screening. She had the resident and a med. student do a bedside ultrasound (med staff training I suspect) and ordered a screening by vascular.

Her examination led her to believe her initial diagnosis was correct. The vascular ultrasound confirmed the absence of a blood clot which was another concern and the order for my release was written. I very much appreciated the treatment from her and the WVU staff.
