I've been seeing Dr Olson for many years. I am pleased with his techniques and enjoy our sessions.
I would highly recommend.

Dr. Olson greatly helped me when I was in a crisis situation, then provided the long term therapy needed to recover from multiple traumatic situations. I dealt with other providers in the past who either totally missed the diagnosis or couldn't get past their own issues to provide proper treatment.

Miss the problems and wasted a year. Now I am going to a psychology who knows and I can get better

After about a year of little or no apparent progress with my problems, Dr. Olson began giving me professionally oriented handouts and journal reprint articles for whom the authors' audience was therapists, not patients/clients. I am not sure why he gave them to me. They were way over my head. We then serially tried or engaged the various therapies touted by those handouts and articles one after another, not spending more than a session or two on each type of therapy before going to the next. When I told Dr. Olson about a very vivid and very dramatic dream I had had about him, we decided to pursue that at my next visit, but he and we did not. He did say, "Wow," about the dream, and agreed it was "loaded." I formed an opinion that he didn't quite know what to do with me and for me, and especially with the dream.
I do not recall any "staff." I usually sat is a tiny waiting-reception area of the Centerville office until he came out, apologized, and we entered the suite. He was superfluously, patronizingly, pretentiously polite; I own as my judgment that he impressed me as effeminate. Not my kind of guy, nor therapist.
