Dr. Kootman left half my wisdom tooth in my mouth in Dec of 2015, it got infected on a business trip in Feb of 2016 and I had to have another dentist remove it. I requested a refund from Dr. Kootman in Feb and am still waiting for the refund that was promised me. Every time I call for the manager they are not available or they say they havent reviewed my file even though I gave them all the info they needed 7 MONTHS ago and was promised the refund. This is a quack Dr and a fraud company. DO NOT USE!!!

I had to have my wisdom teeth removed. I choose not to do the IV sedation and good thing too. Dr Kootman was quick and efficient. I was in and out in no time at all. He and his staff help put me at ease on what to expect and were very friendly. Which helped out a lot. I would highly reccomend him to anyone who would need to have any extractions done.

I went to get my bottom two wisdom teeth out, along with the removal of an Odontogenic keratocyst located beneath my right wisdom tooth. Recovery was painful but he prescribed alot of drugs for me. He was nice enough but I just got vibes that he really didn't care about any of his patients. All the times I went to the office there were prisoners apparently getting work done. There is a red haired lady who runs the front desk who's pretty dumb. AND NOW, two months since this surgery, I've been tonguing the spot where a wisdom tooth was removed and felt something weird. I looked in the mirror and it looked white. I got out my tweezers and slowly pulled/yanked out a chunk of enamel from a wisdom tooth he took out. WTF. He left a piece in my mouth and the socket has been festering around this chunk left in me. UGH. ALSO he nickel and dimes you at the end: you get bills from pathologists and strange bills from your insurance company. Overall, not so good experience.

HORRIBLE is the only word for this clinic. The office staff is terrible! The office was not clean feeling. We waited 2 hours to be seen. I was told it was $50 for consultation - then when I received the bill it was $225.00 - which my insurance co paid a portion of - yet the clinic is telling me I owe more than amount listed on the bill and they sent it to a collections company - all within 90 days of the consultation, and only about 45 days after sending me an initial invoice! Oh, and they told the collections agency I owe them more than the remaining balance after they received payment from my insurance co. I would NEVER go back - they CAN NOT be trusted!!!!!

I recently got my tooth extracted from his office at gentle dentle, now that facilty deserves a rating, they had open windows in the patients rooms so I was looking at the guys next to me the whole time! I smell a HIPPA violation. but i am not including the facility in the rating, as i am rating the dentist not the facility. Dr. Kootman on the other hand he wasnt the friendliest but he wasnt rude in the slightest. he was very quick and I loved that he gave me the option to be sedated completely or just numbed noone had given me that option before. he was very quick took no longer than 10 min to get in and out I am feeling no (abnormal) pain as of yet. But I do wish he would have given me discharge instructions because I got home bleeding from the mouth, my mouth packed with gauze I did not know if i was supposed to change it, take it out, leave it, if it was normal. He did call me that night to make sure I made it home safe and answered all my questions then, but it was 2 hours later.

The office staff was so incredibly rude that I can't imagine how aweful the service would be from the Doctor. Obviously they don't care about getting any new customers!!

I was referred to Dr.Kootman for TMJ issues that were diagnosed from an MRI as severe. I went to him twice out of shear desperation because supposedly he is the only guy that contracts with my medical insurance for the TMJ. I am constantly in pain and his response was "Well I don't prescribe medication, so all I can say is have your dentist redo your mouthgaurd" Which I already use and that is not helping. So I felt he did not care what I was going through nor did he seem to care that I was in his office paying him money since he basically sat in there with me for about 5 minutes and said he couldn't do anything then walked me out and still charged me a hefty amount just for that. He seems to know nothing about TMJ at all. I would never recommend anyone to go to this office.

I needed to have all of my teeth extracted so that I could get dentures. My dentist referred me to Dr. Kootman so I made my appointment. His staff and himself were very pleasant and helpful. I had no pain afterwards and it only took about 20 minutes.I really liked that Dr. Kootman himself called me that night to check on how I was doing. If you need a tooth out or any oral surger call Dr. Kootman he is the BEST.

I felt that the Doctor was very gental, and the staff was very concerned and professional. My experince there was painless and easy. I am very phobic when it comes mtom any dental proceedures. They were understanding of this which made me feel more at ease. i still don't like going to the dentist but I can say if I ever need a Oral-Surgeon I will return to Dr. Kootmans office. If you see this Dr. thank you again......
