I have been a patient's of hers since she first came to town. Great doctor and I am grateful for all she has done for me. All my concerns are addressed and no questions are every dismissed. My neighbour is also her patients and loves her too.

I give her 5 stars for 5 start service. I think that those who did not meet her have no right to evaluate her as a medical professional. She is wonderful! I am an established patient (and so is my wife) and glad she does not take new ones. This way when I need to see her she always has time to see me. Her website clearly states she is not taking new patients. It's not her fault there are no other good rheumatologists in Naples...

I called Dr. Granath's office to make an appointment. My primary care physician (PCP) had already faxed over to her office my medical records, and a copy of my blood work had been sent over as well. The lady I spoke with said that Dr. Granath wasn't accepting any new patients, even though my insurance's website says "Accepting new patients." She also said that my PCP had to send over to the office a "new patient referral" and that only then the doctor would consider whether she would accept me as a patient or not. After reading other people's reviews, I see that I am not the only one who has had such an unpleasant experience with Dr. Granath's office. It wouldn't be a bad idea for the doctor to inform the insurance companies that she is no longer taking new patients, and that she has a very particular and possibly discriminative method of deciding whether she would still take a new patient or not.

Too bad that Dr. Granath doesn't seem to care that her staff is completely rude and unprofessional. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND GOING TO THIS DR.'S OFFICE!!! I had been calling and leaving messages for a week to make sure they received the REQUIRED Dr.'s referral. Since I DIDN'T get a return call after 4 days I drove to the office to find out what was the status. When I got there the "Office Manager" said they never got my referral. So I contacted my Dr.'s office and they resent the referral, no problem. When I went back to the desk to let them know, I was treated like I was never going to see the Dr. They were unwilling to make my appointment even though THEY never called me and I had to go out of my way to finally get information from them. Then, when I pointed that out, she told me they closed at noon (it was literally 12:01 and I even let an elderly lady in front of me in line) and she couldn't make my appointment. They were so rude with excuse after excuse and an attitude to match. When I told the "Office Manager" how rude they were and ask how she would like to be treated this way when trying to get an appointment, she got more of an attitude with me. In the end, I found out from my Dr.'s office that the referral was sent and received, 5 days earlier, because they got a confirmation fax saying it was. This office had no plan in making an appointment for me and supposedly Dr. Granath knew it. This is the experience I had (along with many others, check out other reviews about the office staff) and I wasn't even a patient yet. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE EVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!

I too was discharged despite having agreed to her recommended course of treatment and scheduling a follow-up appointment. I was summarily denied access to my online account containing test results. She refused to return multiple phone calls asking for an explanation of her precipitous action. I subsequently heard that this is a common practice of hers. Don't waste your time.

I was discharged by this doctor for no reason 3 days before I was to receive my injection for osteoporosis. I was sent a certified letter which claimed I " had no intention of following up with her." This was not true. I always did as she asked even when I was disappointed at the slowness of the withdrawal from the prednisone which I was on for Giant Cell Arteritis. I am now forced to fill my osteoporosis injection medication at the pharmacy which requires a $500. copay.

I have a complex autoimmune condition and when I moved to Naples 3 years ago, my greatest fear was I would not be able to find the quality medical care I was used to in Boston (Mass General). I tried 2 other local specialists and was not impressed. Dr Granath is all I have been looking for. She is excellent! Finally a university grade Rheumatolgist in Naples!

Distracted and not prepared. Forgets to set up proposed testing and staff is confused by her incoherent and conflicting verbl orders. Seems to not understand rheumatology and baffled by medical practices in general. Highly recommend not getting involved in her chaos of a "practice".
