I truly believe that Dr. Vera saved my daughter from self-destruction when she was a teenager and young adult.

Dr. Vara can offer some reassuring words, but she's not very helpful. She also frequently cancels appointments.

The 10/2011 review is soooo wrong. Dr. Vara is so very helpful and knowledgeable. She is able to guide me through problems and offers many books as references. She is also very personable.

Dr. Vara is incredibly sympathetic. Works very well with both of my children.

Not recommended. Very difficult to improve dilemmas when someone stairs at you while you talk and then asks "how does that make you feel?" Seems to care more about her bank account than the client needs. May be book smart but has trouble applying it to the real world.
