I've been seeing Dr. John for over 15 years. I'm just now in the process of switching to an adult dentist. His office is very kid-friendly. There are toys and books in the waiting room and an old sega arcade game with lots of games to choose from. The office is decorated like a jungle and is not frightening to kids at all. Many flavors to choose from for toothpaste and fluoride (cookie dough, watermelon, grape, birthday cake, mint, etc). He counts the kids' teeth in a voice mimicking the Count from Seasame Street. Chairs are different colors and the staff is always very friendly. Dr. John is one of the few medical professionals I've met that takes a personal interest in his patients. He always asks me how school is going and seems genuinely interested in what I have to say. I wish all doctors and dentists could be like him. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I would absolutely encourage everyone to give him a try!
