Love this hospital! Delivered both my kids here because I had such a great experience here except for 1 nurse and 1 anesthesiologist.

Have almost killed me several times, forgot me, told me results when no labs or exam done yet. I have breathing attacks due to seasonal allergies, and have seen them for that, an ear infection, and UTI over the last 5 years. I have come in and had them tell me my diagnosis but no dr seen me yet and no labs done. They once tried to give me seizure meds meant for another patient & another time they tried to give me insulin meant for another patient (I am not diabetic not epileptic), they have lost record of several of my visits (when trying to get my records they showed me only there 1/3 f my actual visits --- had the admittance bracelets so I knew the dates), they gave me meds after I told them I had allergies to them, and once the forgot me for hours and never checked on me. They only came when machines would not stop alerting them (they ignored my button pushing for attention). When blood took I left majorly bruised and with a blown out vein. How are they training these people? I told my husband to never take me here or have an ambulance take me here again. I would rather take a 2 min longer ride to memorial hospital e.r.

The management is lacking in communication skills and puts employee needs as a low priority.

Facility is old. Grey walls and floor are depressing. Physicians do not accept most health plans. Pathologist bill patients for items that insurance direct them to not to bill - interpretations done by automated systems. Multiple billings for the same services. Customer service does not exist. Our Physician/Surgeon failed to make good recommendations because they failed to research pre-existing conditions that did not allow treatment to be completed.
