Biography

When he was about 12 years old, Dr. Witte woke up with his ear pressed to his shoulder, unable to move. His mother decided to bring him to a chiropractor where he learned he had acute torticollis. This experience made quite the impression on Dr. Witte, opening his eyes to the power of chiropractic care. A few years later when his sister visited the same chiropractor, she was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis, meaning her scoliosis was only going to get worse. Her doctor believed that within a few years she would need surgery and just as he thought, she had spinal fusion done two years later. While their chiropractor saw her current and future spinal health, other medical doctors weren’t able to. Dr. Witte was impressed by his chiropractor’s knowledge and the approach to healing and wellness that accompanies the chiropractic lifestyle. Later in life, when Dr. Witte was about ready to exit the Army, he decided to become a chiropractor and applied to college. After graduating Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1979, Dr. Witte opened a clinic here in Woodbury. He then practiced near St. Paul for many years before moving back to Woodbury and starting Premier Health and Wellness. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Witte stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and services to ensure you the most wholesome approach to healing. He values his patients, promising he’ll truly listen to your needs and work with you to achieve your health goals. Outside of the office, Dr. Witte enjoys traveling, golfing and bicycling.
