Dr. Heller, Stephanie, & his nurse are amazing. They are very caring & always address any question or concern & find an answer or a solution. They always explain everything going on & keep me informed. His treatment plans always had my best interest at heart, to the point that he & his nurse bugged my insurance company until they approved my next course of treatment. Would highly recommend him to everyone!

Adversarial is how I describe Dr. Heller and his office staff. Their financial policy is to get money up front from patients that they say will be their deductibles and out of pocket expenses. They kept almost $1200 of mine for 6 months and were not intending to give it back till we called them on it. Beware.

He came in the first visit and told me I would have chemo and surgery. I have had both plus radiation. Now he wants me to take oral chemo, which has worse side effects than the IV type. And the studies do not give any more benefits for this than not to have it.

He doesn't seem to care what people are going through. His office staff are unfriendly, not helpful and deceptive. I am picking up my records and finding another doctor ASAP.

Dr Brian Heller treated my wife, Patricia for eight years. We always received the best treatment and straight answers from he and his staff. Trips to the infusion center were always done in a comforting manner and on time. Though Pat lost her battle with Leukemia, Dr Heller and SCC afforded us 8 additional years of quality life. I cannot say enough about this great practice.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Heller. He always took time to answer questions for me and for my daughter when she was there. I believe he does care for his patients and does what is best for that patient and his/her condition. I would definitely use him again should it be necessary.

Dr Heller was the only one of my many doctors that fought me on getting my disability. He said I was non compliant because although I tried , I could not tolerate the aromatase inhibitor he wanted me on. He has no knowledge or tolerance for patients who choose to fight cancer with proper nutrition, supplements and other holistic methods. He comes into the exam room and just stares at me. He barely talks to me and treats me with hostility. I have talked to him about this and yet he still does it. I will change doctors as soon as I am able. I would not recommend him to anyone facing cancer. He lacks compassion and understanding. Dr. Heller disrespects his patient's right to make choices about their own care. He is a very cold man who has no idea what a cancer patient goes through emotionally. Every time I leave a visit with him, I am ashamed that I have not yet had the strength to change to another doctor. Right now I request his PA for future visits just so I don't have to see him and feel degraded for my choices. Thank you for the opportunity to offer this feedback to my fellow cancer warriors.

Really liked being treated the last 8 years by Dr. Heller and his staff. I get checked in and it shall haven't gotten seated good when called back to the lab. On occasions I have had to wait longer than most just like at my primary care. But I don't want to be rushed if I have questions and wouldn't want him to rush other patients. He has always been there for me. Yes I would definitely recommend him and Southern Cancer Center to others.
