Dr Issokson was NOT helpful in helping me deal with a traumatic birth and subsequent post-partum depression. As other reviewers have noted, she can be cold and impersonal, not friendly and in fact she added to my problems. Definitely DO NOT recommend!

I find Dr. Issokson to be empathic and very helpful. A rating for staff was required but she does not have staff. She handles her own schedule and billing and she has been nothing but friendly and professional.

Cold and detached, judgemental, and not helpful. If you are experiencing a postpartum mood disorder, please save yourself the pain and hassle and find someone else to work with. I was traumatized by my work with Deborah Issokson. When I sought elsewhere, I learned that many other women had suffered the same fate.

I met with Dr. Issokson after my second child turned a year old and my only regret is that I didn't see her sooner as I suffered very ill pregnancies and very challenging recoveries. She was warm, comforting, nurturing, patient, knowledgeable, and supportive.

No office staff. Usually punctual. Dr. Issokson is cold and not very helpful, especially if you've experienced a traumatic birth experience. Definitely would NOT recommend.

No office staff. Punctual most of the time. Knowledgeable about childbirth issues. Not particularly helpful with non reproduction issues. Professional but didn't feel comfortable with this therapist. Found another therapist that was more helpful. Would not recommend.
