Extremely arrogant is the first thing that comes to mind. Next would be rude, to both staff and patient.

From the start, he displays his arrogant personality while demeaning you as a drug addict. Whether he realizes he is doing it or not, he clearly insinuates that you are in his office for drugs.

He did, however, seem to listen and spent an appropriate amount of time discussing my condition. He was punctual and the office is flawless. I cannot comment on his treatment plan because his personality ensured I would not be returning.

It's actually amusing how some doctors seem to think that because they went to medical school, you couldn't possibly be as intelligent. Maybe, doc, if you would read these reviews and actually take to heart the negative comments regarding your personality, you could improve your bedside manner and be tolerable to be around.

Dr. Freydl is an incredible and caring doctor. He is knowledge and took the time to explain to me exactly why I was hurting. He even added me on for a treatment the same day as my consultation for no extra charge! He is so wonderful and got the first time in years I'm pain free.

I had to see this doctor during a procedure once when my regular doctor was out and he is by far the most rude doctor I've ever met. He yelled at me during a procedure, while I was under sedation, refused to treat me as my other doctor directed and told me I couldn't be helped. If he could see me now!!!! I am much much better but no thanks to him. The staff even said he was known for that behavior and he is no longer at that office thank goodness b/c he was just mean and didn't fit in there with the other top docs. He has his own office now and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS DOCTOR!

This is a very fine doctor. While everyone's condition is different, I went in to see Dr. Freydl barely able to walk, and within a few hours after my first treatment could function again. He was far more patient with me than the others describe. He is smart and that may come across as arrogant, but he isn't really arrogant. While he didn't prefer me to get surgery I eventually did - and that has been a year of recovery. He still treated me with respect and concern after surgery. He helped me manage the pain downwards - I'm finally a bit better than before I blew out my back. I think every doctor that deals with this kind of pain management is concerned that patients don't become drug dependent. So I appreciated his concern about this as well. He has always been there for me to try to work me in when I was in serious pain. And that is very commendable. I highly recommend him.

As I was in need of seeing a Dr. quickly I found Dr. Fredyl's practice available and willing to evaluate and potentially treat my back issues within 24 hrs of my making contact. Dr. Fredyl was incredibly knowlegdeable and had a very good bedside manner. He took the time to understand history and symptoms and we talked through a number of scenarios for treatment with his telling me why one in particular was recommended over the others. My lower back issue it turns out was the likely result of nutritional defficiencies during a period of vigorous excercise which could be treated without needles or medication. I've been to other pain clinics where they're too anxious to prescribe as treatment but I found Dr. Fredyl's approach and knowledge to be welcome and most importantly effective!

I had a frozen shoulder and during the therapy the pain increased because the orthopedic surgeon did not have the wisdom to prescribe a pain block prior to the exercises. afterwards when the pain was unbearable i turned to the pain clinic in hopes that this would alleviate some of my daily torment. What a mistake to see this arrogant jerk, he spent half the time on a cell phone, then told me lets get this over as his time is valuable! What a disgrace to his profession. Wish there was any way to prevent him from getting paid by our BCBS - he is a fraud and a sham. If you are in pain, he recommends that you see a pain psychologist ( on their staff first ) to make sure that you are not hallucinating. The treatment he want to prescribe is to maximize your stay within his practice and his profits. Not to address your problems but to address his financial needs. If there was anyone who should be removed from practicing any kind of medical services it is this bozo...

This physician was late, unprepared, arrogant, asked inappropriate questions, and unwilling to consider any questions or suggestions we made regarding my daughters back diagnosis. He also did not inform the Physical Therapist of the MRI results and the next day the wrong exercises increased the injury and pain level. Freydl forced my daughter to take a drug test which on her second visit and humiliated her continually throughout the total of 3 visits. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Although he seemed like a nice guy and seemed to know what he was talking about, he failed on my diagnosis, so I have to give him a "poor" rating. After a couple Epidural steroid injections that he gave me with no change, I suggested that we explore, piriformis syndrome. He was not open to this suggestion and instead, arrogantly continued to insist that his original diagnosis of a back problem was correct. I later got a neurographic MRI that pretty much confirmed piriformis syndrome, along with several other doctors. He needs to have a more open mind and more education in conditions that he obviously does not have knowledge of. Like many doctors, he has this aura of "I know everything, don't question my wisdom". He could be good (because he's obviously very intelligent) if he can ditch the fantasy that makes him a legend in his own mind.
