Besides having to play phone tag with clueless office assistants every time I called, Dr. Bruno (or his staff) has totally left me out to dry. I am epileptic and depend on medication to keep seizures at bay. In June 2016, he saw me last, cleared me to drive, told me I don't have to see him for another year, and handed me a script with a year worth of refills. I proceeded to tell him AND his staff that I was moving to Las Vegas at the end of July and would be finding a new doctor once my new insurance kicked in. In mid-July I unexpectedly needed hand surgery. The hospital requested Dr. Bruno's clearance for my anesthesia. Dr. Bruno ordered blood work for me at this time for the surgery. That was the end of that, so I thought. I've refilled my prescription twice in Las Vegas. I should have about 8 or 9 refills left. With only 7 days of medication left, my pharmacy informs me that Dr. Bruno is no authorizing any more refills. I call the office on Wednesday, 11/2, ask why, I am told that my chart says Dr. Bruno ordered blood work in July. He won't authorize any more refills at this point without him seeing me again. I remind them that I moved to Vegas. I remind them that the bloodwork was needed for my surgery and nothing else. Obviously, their records are not kept very well. The secretary tells me she will talk to Dr. Bruno and call me back. Wednesday ends, Thursday ends. NO call. I call Friday, 11/4, asking for an update and to speak with Dr. Bruno. No doctor. The secretary is now someone else who has NO idea what I'm talking about. She tells me if I can't come in, to go to the hospital if I have a seizure without my medication. I'm told someone will call me back. Monday, 11/7, ends, NO call. This is pitiful practice.

It is rare to find such a doctor who takes the time to listen and do their best to help you. Knowledgeable and professional while exuding a genuine bedside manner. Staff is friendly and personable and go the extra mile to meet your office needs. Highly reccommend to all who need to be treated by a Neurologist or for Sleep Disorder.
