She was so knowledgeable, empathic, and figured out what was wrong with me in the first visit after years of doctors shrugging their shoulders. She has been quick to treat my disease and listen to all of my concerns.

It was nice to hear that other people have had a negative experience with Dr. Scalapino,someone need to knock her off her pedastool. I have never had a Doctor treat me with such disrespect as she did. I had to wait 3 Months for an appointment only to be disappointed when I left. She diagnosed me with Fybromyalgia which I already knew, I guess I thought she might recommend some new tests to run,or a different diagonosis but she didn't. She made me feel as if her time could be used elsewhere. I did my own research and went to see a specalest which was out of network and had special blood work, saliva test. Tests results showed I had a thyroid and hormone problem.

Seems nice at first, but is very unsympathetic. She made me feel like I was crazy when I came in for an urgent visit because of severe pain in ribs and difficulty breathing. She was short and rude and sent me home. I found out later from a Family Doctor that it was Costocondritis (inflammation of the ribs and rib cartilage and causes heart attack like chest pain. She wrote in my record that it was mental, not physical (but in a much more derrogatory manner). Switched Doctors after that incident.
