I highly recommend Dr Johnson for anyone seeking a neuropsychologist. I took my 86 yr old Mother in to be currently evaluated after she was first diagnosed with Dementia Alzheimer’s back in August 2018 by a different neuropsychologist. What outstanding service all the staff provided my mother; from scheduling her appointments, entire testing process, then diagnosis. My mother was treated as she was the only patient they had, devoting an abundance of time to make certain she was comfortable, listened to everything she said, and most important my mother was receptive & engaged. Although there were timing & scheduling difficulties on mom’s side, the staff was amazing in working mom in. My mother is almost completely deaf, which many times makes it difficult for her to have communication with others, mom was alone for a majority of her evaluation (besides briefly informing them why we were there) and I was not certain how it would go, I happily found out it was not a problem at all. Mom typically dislikes testing, but she was in a good mood when I went to pick her up after testing. Once all information was gathered and a diagnosis was obtained, they scheduled an appointment to go over the results. Wow, what a pleasant surprise, they wanted to schedule a time to explain her diagnosis. I was so impressed how she went over everything; breaking it all down into layman’s terms, then further telling us what to expect in the future. It’s extremely difficult taking any loved one in for dementia evaluation, but Dr Johnson suggested a medication that won’t stop it, but slow the process down, which was somewhat hopeful. It’s an emotional & touchy situation with dementia, however the professionalism, empathy, working around difficult scheduling & making certain mom was comfortable throughout entire process, shows me everyone at Johnson’s Neuropsychology is willing to go the extra mile for any person that comes to them.

I am a veteran and Dr Johnson was assigned to me as a VES to evaluate my PTSD for the VA. I found her to be very professional, knowledgeable and experienced with PTSD in veterans, and also experienced with the Veterans Administration and their process. She seemed to be empathetic to the PTSD condition among combat veterans. She gave me a good evaluation, which was sent directly to the VA. I was pleased with the results.
