This doctor seems to despise his patients. He was very dismissive with questions and requests for help. My father saw him a few times for a serious condition and finally decided not to go back. I accompanied my father for one of them. Dr. Tatarian was not very helpful and seemed to want to get everything over with as fast as he could. My father said, I quote, this doctor has no soul. I read other reviews of him that say simiar things.

Awful experience with a doctor who has knowledge but is rigid, unhelpful, and discompassionate. He seems to have forgotten that the medical profession is about healing. Very full of himself - it's "my way or the highway" with him. Steer clear.

Kind of seems like the Wizard of Oz - you never know which doctor you'll get. The "face" of the office (the receptionist) is HORRIBLE with 0% empathy or understanding towards patients. She'll berate patients that have neurological issues...she is DEFINITELY in the wrong field of work. As for the doctor himself, absolutely HORRIBLE bedside manner and totally unresponsive. He'll stand on his soap box for you all day though. Do yourself a favor - check the reviews (not google, because he clearly pays to get the negative reviews removed) and find yourself another neurologist.

Dr. T took over for my neurologist who moved to another state. He saw me 45 minutes after my appointment time and stated that he examed me for an hour. That wasn't even close. He would ask questions but did not not listen for my answers so his assessment has several discrepancies. I decided this was not a good fit after he said he "doesn't listen to other doctors" (I was told by several specialists to see a neurologist) and that "I can't help you." If he can't help, I'm leaving. As I got up to leave, he stopped me and said, Well, let's just do the exam your way then. What does that even mean? He Dx me with migraines but dismissed the reason why I was there in the first place. I know I have migraines. I would not recommend him unless you are already properly Dx'd and even then I wouldn't put up with his arrogance so bring a patient advocate if he's the only neurologist who takes your insurance. I saw him right before Covid so I haven't seen another neurologist and would rather suffer than put up with someone like him.

Was referred to Dr. Tatarian for an EMG, I currently have RSD. He did not introducing himself or ask me any questions about the reason for my appointment. I asked him a question and he told me "why would I have an opinion, I don't know you". He told me since your not responding to physical treatment, medicine or injections that i should learn to live with it. He was very cold and dismissive. I wasted 2 months waiting for an appointment when I could have seen another Dr. that cared.

Dr T is an amazing neurologist. he helped me overcome a very confusing illness with patience and kindness. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable but he spends time with you. Helped me understand the baffling symptoms and helped me recover my life back. He understands and respects that the nervous system holds a tremendous amount of unknowns which is the first thing patients need to grasp.

Anyone that rated this Dr. above 1 star must have been family of Dr. Tatarian. I am shocked this guy is still able to practice. He was no help whatsoever to me. Made me feel like my sypmtoms were in my head and even used the term "psychosomatic". I would not recommend seeing him unless you can handle a cold, heartless, little man who is bothered by your presence. If you have an easy to diagnose condition or treatment by all means maybe he is your man. God forbid if you don't have positive test results or blood work or something for him to help you figure out that is neurological. He doesn't have time for you!

He is the only doctor I trust for my Botox injections for blepharospasms. He's caring and excellent with my injections.

Dr Tatarian seems quiet and reserved at first, but I have found him to be extremely caring and supportive. He has helped me in all aspects of dealing with eary onset Parkinson's Disease. Returns emails and phone calls promptly.
