Not willing to have conversation with the patient if it is not just agreeing with the doctor. Will become very defensive if any questions are asked instead of just saying yes. Will talk over the patient instead of listening.

He was so arrogant, disrespectful and talked down to me that I walked out of the appointment after 5 minutes. He didn't want to hear what I had to say. He just wanted me to answer his questions and he used "SAT type vocabulary" to be condescending to me. I would actually tell anyone I can NOT to use him.

Dr. Weisman is an excellent neurologist. He is very knowledgeable and was able to diagnosis my MS right away. He wanted to confirm his diagnosis with some additional tests, but after going to see three other neurologists who could not determine what was wrong with me, I was relieved to finally have a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr. Weisman saw my father as he was suffering from Dementia. We met with the doctor twice. Neither time as he was interviewing my father, did he once take his eyes off his computer screen as he keyed responses and observations. His bedside manner was horrific. His lack of eye contact with either my father or me was off-putting to say the least. The meds he provided did nothing to improve my dad's condition and when I suggested that they were negatively effecting him. Dr. Weisman got agitated with me. At the end of his life, my dad was in Abington on life support and the attending physician suggested that we bring in a neurologist. I was told Weisman was the one on call. I told the my father's doctor that I'd rather he not see a neurologist if the only option was Dr. Weisman. That was last summer. I made my feelings known to another Doc in the practice. Hopefully someone is mentoring him to have a shred of empathety for those he treats.
