I rate this Doctor as one of the worst. This Dr. Prescribed 18 medications with concurrent side effects. This Dr. overmedicated her patient. Outcome Death of patient. This Dr never spoke with family members. The family was never aware of the medications given to the loved one. They were only told the patient was terminal. Which was a lie. Either this Dr is not knowlegable in the drugs she prescribes are she shouldnt be practicing medicine. Most of these drugs were not medically necessary. As patient was only on 4 meds before seeing Dr. Devenport. The combination of these drugs caused patient to lose sight and hearing. To which Dr was aware of and contiue to prescribe them anyway. Leaving pt. totally helpless and at the mercy of Dr. Devenport.

I found Dr.Devenport to be very helpful to my needs. She had test done to view my over all health issues, and was very knowledgeable & understanding to my condition. Most important - she listened to me. The treatments she has recommended have work for me. I am thrilled to have found her.

Do to this Doctors 16 medications prescribed the patient the had to be admitted to the Dallas VA to withdraw from them. She never spoke with the family and diagnosed him with Alzheimers.. The patient truley had a nervous mental breakdown. The Dallas VA refussed to release him back to the nursing home he came from. Not once has anyone called asking about his condition. But they sure did send a bill.

This doctor has no bedside manners. She is rude, cold, and non caring. She is abrupt with pt and family. She caters to nursing home elderly patients with chronic conditions. She is not knowledgeable to concurrent side effects or adverse reactions. She needs to seek another profession.
