I have seen Dr. Mersey for several years and can't tell you how many times I get the dreaded phone call at the last minute canceling my appt. Most recently I had an appt scheduled for the last 6 months and the receptionist called the DAY before the appt to tell me that he had to go out of town for a conference and they had to change my appt. What upset me was the idea that they waited until the day before to tell me (there is no way that he accepted this engagement the day before it occurred so why wait and tell me at the last minute). To make matters worse I was told that I had to wait until 2 months later to get a rescheduled appt. I can only come at the end of the day and so I had to wait 2 months to be fit in. This is unacceptable esp. since HE canceled on me.This is getting to happen way too much for me. The best part about this mess is that one day last year I had a horrible stomach bug and couldn't even crawl out of bed to make my appt that day and I got hit with a $25 charge.
