I met Dr. Farinas when she was called in as the consulting physician for my husband. We had been trying to find help for him for years and she is the one who finally accurately diagnosed his issues. She was an enormous help and incredibly caring. Through this meeting she has since become my 15 year old son's doctor as well as mine. We have been patients for 7 years and I cannot speak highly enough of her attention to every detail as well as her expertise. Dr. Farinas listens and helps. Anyone is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Farinas as their physician.

Dr. Farinas is an amazing physician. She has gone way out of her way to help me and my son with our adhd. With her, you are an active participant in your care. If you don't want to take a medicine, you don't have to. It is your treatment! Dr. Farinas has been a godsend in helping me navigate the public school system to get the help my son needs.

I would not recommend her to anyone. She pushes pills, pressures you to make life decisions that you are not comfortable with and forces her opinions and suggestions on you.
Any review that says she will draw you in at first and then quickly change is the truth.
She is in a different mood and has a different temperament towards her patients day by day.
I will be finding a different doctor.

I thought she was a good person at first. But she talks so condescending and acts like she knows everything. It was a horrible experience and I will not be coming back. I will steer everyone away from her. Seeing a psychiatrist is suppose to help you, not make you feel even worse about yourself! I've never had such negative feelings about someone. Such a nasty soul.

Dr. Farinas is the best Adolescent Psychiatrist in Jacksonville. Dr. Farinas goes above and beyond for all of her patients. She'll listen to your needs and is up front and honest with her recommendations. I wish there were more like her!

She will misdiagnose you, prescribe unnecessary medications and then blame you when you fail to get better. She absolutely will give up on you.

I think Dr. Rebbecca Farinas is one of the best psychiatrist I have ever had. . She has helped a lot. Anytime I needed something she has found a way to help me.

I was also a previous patient of Farinas at Baptist and when she moved to her own practice I could not get critical medication refills that I needed. Baptist would not help me, Farinas has apparently stopped accepting new patients or transfers and that leaves me with trying to find a new doctor. There should have been a better plan to manage her patients after she left instead of leaving them shut out on their own!

I was under Dr. Farinas' care when she was employed by Baptist and had no complaints; however, after she opened her own practice, it was a different situation. I was an existing patient, signed release papers for her to see me in her private practice and when I needed to see her urgently for an appt, I was unable to even speak to her. Her receptionist was rude, took 2 days to return a voice mail I left and promptly told me that I would have to fill out more forms on a website, fax or bring them to the office and wait for her to call me back again for an appt. I left a voice mail for Dr. Farinas and sent her an email explaining my situation and she never responded. I was very disappointed that Dr. Farinas cared nothing about talking to me. She must have enough patients now that she no longer cares about keeping one. I will be seeing a new doctor now and hope that Dr. Farinas will cooperate in providing my medical records.
