During the Flu epidemic when people were dying across the US, my 10 year old son had flu symptoms. We brought him in and Dr Pivor did not want to run a test. My wife insisted. He came back with the nasal swab, barely wiped his nostrils. When I've had it done they go uncomfortably fast into your nose to swab. He left the room, came back five minutes later and was very happy to inform my wife she was wrong and my son did not have the flu.
Later that night, his temperature rose to 103 and his finger nails turned blue, we brought him to the er where he was admitted and kept the that night. they ran aproper test and he indeed had the flu..y son could have died if we trusted his word. When we called he explained his tests are old and not accurate like the hospital. WHY, when people are dying, and your tests don't work would you poo poo a sick kid with flu symptoms, then do a half ass swab and five minute results. Then when we're confronted they told us our son can not be a parasite but the anymore. AND, they booked us for the visit and we ended up with z $1500 ER bill. Avoid this Doctor!!!! The staff and Kathy are great, they should go work for another reliable doctor who doesn't treat his patients like cattle.
