Dr. McRae couldn’t have cared less about the task at hand. He should probably retire and go enjoy life. I have had tonsil issues since seeing him two years ago. My right tonsil is clogged, and he never sent me for imaging to confirm it. The man has an i.q. like anyone, but if he’s not helping his patients, it’s better used elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with him or University Gastroenterology when there are a lot of ents affiliated with good hospitals who will care and take the time to fix the problem. Two years after seeing him, my tonsils still suffer, and I’ve literally done everything to help them along, varying diets, only water, less medication, etc. etc. He’s honestly a massive disappointment as a Dr. That is an honest review of the mans skill or lack There of at this point.

He may be very knowledgeable, but he doesn't spend enough time with you. You find yourself wanting to chase after him to get answers because he just runs out the door without answering your questions. You walk away wondering why you wasted your time and money on the appointment.
