Thank you GOD and Thank you Dr Piepmeier may the good Lord keep blessing you, that through your knowledge expertise and dedication you continue to be a blessing to so many patients like myself. I feel very fortunate that you were my neurosurgeon for both of my brain tumor surgeries, could have not ask for a more kind, attentive, knowledgeable, dedicated, warm and respectful Dr. God definitely guided me and put me into the best hands. It's a privilege to have such a professional and the best in his field as my neurosurgeon.

The comments about him being rude and condescending and no bedside manner are the total opposite of this man . I've been in the care of over 20 Drs since 2005 and Dr P is is the most caring and professional Dr I have ever been around. He has the best bedside manner I've ever seen !!! This man saved my life and truly cares about his patients!!!!

The first doctor could only biopsy my tumor but the doctor has an MRI in the operating room and can monitor the brain with surgery. He took my tumor out and after my recovery I am doing very well.

Dr. Piepmeier and his team in 2012 enabled me to get out of the hospital after only 2 days following brain surgery. He guided me with skill and caring to make the decision to have the tumor removed sooner rather than later. His was a 2nd opinion, which concurred with the first opinion at another hospital. I highly recommend him and I would have confidence in any doctor who interned with him.

Saved our daughter from what others in the field said she probably would not make it and at best be left with disabilities. Having been in the medical field my entire career, I can tell you this is the most skilled, warm and compassionate doctor I have ever come across. We had done a national search for a neurosurgeon and he was recognized as one of the top doctor in his field. 7 years later she is a Medical Doctor and surgeon with no lasting effects.

I found Dr. Piepmeier to be very compassionate and dedicated. He was always available and helpful. He removed my tumor that other doctors would not touch. Life is not perfect but I am glad I found him to help me make the best of a bad condition.

It's been a few years now since my surgery or surgeries as it turned out. I really don't want to go back to this doctor. I developed pain and lots of it due to damage to nerves in my neck. He and his colleague had to go back time and time again and operate on leaks etc. I have read where neurosurgeons have spent 9 hours or more in surgery for my condition. My wife and I were stunned when my surgery took maybe 4 hours, at best. One young lady at another hospital that I know of, had 11 hours spent on her surgery. She has full use of her faculties after the surgery. Her surgeon retired and he had been my first choice. When I tried to explain how I felt( in constant pain), he was terribly dismissive and cold and not helpful. I am going to have to have a forth surgery to correct the damage done from the previous three.Do your home work , people, and listen to your instincts, I wish I had.

Had Gamma Knife radiation treatment from him. Terrible experience and left me with seizures afterwards. Will be on medication for the rest of my life because he did not give me proper medication to reduce swelling in my brain. Wound up having to go through surgery - thankfully with a difference neurosurgeon.

Still in the mix. Jury is still out. I understand a few of the negative comments.
