Dr. O'Connell is simply amazing. I have unfortunately moved from the area and have never been able to find a more knowledgeable, kind, considerate, genuine doctor since. She treated me for presumed endometriosis when other doctors brushed me off. My surgery proved her speculation correct and aided in treating my pain at that time. I admire her for not jumping on the pharmaceutical bandwagon, for recognizing the power of natural alternatives (for those of us that are open to such methods), and also for respecting that disparate symptoms may be linked and that investigation is the only way to find a root cause. She is dogged in her research and yet a kind, humanistic caregiver. I honestly wish I could fly her out to see me. She's the best of the best.

She performed a surgery to remove a cyst that went as well as I could have hoped for. She was very 'controlling' in the operation room - only her staff was present - and that was wonderful. She knows just what to do to get the job done and executed it perfectly. She is warm and friendly, yet smart as a whip!

It was said in another review that Dr. O'connell is in a class of her own. I ditto that. I would highly recommend her. I have had a problem for years and alot of messing around with other doctors. She performed a successful surgery and I feel great and the issue is resolved. So caring, friendly, not in a hurry and her staff always have smiles and are friendly. Wonderful experience

This is one of the finest OBGYN I have ever been to. I had a problem that none of the other doctors could treat properly. Dr. O'Connell not only helped me identify the problem but also treated it successfully. Very patient, encouraging and excellent bedside manners. same goes for her staff. Thanks a lot.

Dr. O'Connell is in a class by herself. I have seen over a dozen doctors for vulvar pain. This is a very complex condition. It is also a poorly studied condition so many doctors tend to eventually through their hands in the air and give up. Doctor O'Connell not only understands its completely but she treats it successfully. She is the most compassionate and kind doctor I have ever met. She treated me as a friend, not just another patient. She always spent more time with me then I am sure was scheduled for me and she called me so many times that I have lost track. She is unlike any other Doctor I have met. I am so blessed to have found her to do my surgery. I wish EVERY GYN had to spend one day with her in the OR and office. They could learn so much.

Dr. O'Connell is great! I only ranked her staff a 4 because the nurse practitioner, Mary, wasn't as great. Dr. O'Connell took the time to explain things to me, gave me a plan of attack, and follows up. She talked to my dad after my surgery and he said that he understood - after talking to her for only a few minutes - why I felt so comfortable with her. She knows what she's talking about. I saw 4 other doctors before her and all said things were all functioning normally, I shouldn't be in any pain. She was the first to suggest what might be wrong and - of course - she was right! I trust her completely. I'd send anyone her way without a doubt.

Dr. O'Connell was fanastic as a surgeon. She has always gone the extra mile to listen to me and not feel I am on a waiting list to see her that day. She has called me at home to check on my progress, and showed compassion towards what I was going through like no other physician I've dealt with. Her staff is awesome as well! I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for someone to see regarding women's health.

I love Dr. O'Connell. After 6 highly esteemed doctors told me I had to have a hysterectomy she was the only doctor brave enough to suggest a myomectomy to remove my large fibroid. She was so successful with the surgery that I became pregnant for the first time 4 months later! Not only is she the most skilled surgeon I've ever met (& I've had many surgeries in my life) but she is also very knowledgeable, generous with her time and overall incredibly cool. She's the kind of person I wish I knew socially, but I feel lucky just to have had her as my gynocologist.

Dr. O''Connell is fantastic Very Caring. Very Respectful. Appointments are structured so there is enough time to address concerns. Does a great job treating problems. Well worth the time it took to get into see her initially.
