Biography

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Sheu earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, and her medical degree at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Sheu is a pediatrician at the South Gate office of Pioneer Medical Group and is fluent in both Spanish and English. After medical school, Dr. Sheu completed her pediatric residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where she was also the pediatric chief resident. She managed a successful private practice in Los Angeles starting in 1990, and has been practicing medicine long enough to enjoy seeing many of her patients grow up. Some of her early patients are now driving and preparing for college. Dr. Sheu works hard to ensure that all her young patients receive the proper immunizations to prevent disease. She enjoys helping parents learn to be the best they can. She sees a lot of ill children in a day, but truly enjoys helping them feel well again. Dr. Sheu is a member of the Los Angeles County Pediatric Society as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. She lives in San Gabriel with her two children. She enjoys arts-and-crafts, knitting and crocheting.
