My baby boy has been seeing Dr. Long since birth about 15 months ago. She is amazing. Very knowledgable and gentle. I never feel rushed when I see her and she really loves kids, which is important in this field, I believe. Her bedside manners are remarkable and she is very soft-spoken and sweet. Whenever I have a question, no matter how small or dumb it may seem, she always gives me a detailed answer. She actually seems to care about your little one! Unlike some other peds I've seen in my lifetime, believe it or not. All in all, go see her, she is awesome. The wait time at the Pembroke Pines office is not too bad, about an hour to an hour and a half at most. Her staff is great there, too. My son's medicaid cancelled unexpectedly and I had to see her because he had a fever. They waived the fee for the visit! The Jamaican (or Bahamian, not sure) lady who I believe is the office manager is very knowledgeable as well. She is the one who allowed me to see the doc at no charge that day.
