My office visit was fast. Th doctor went briefly went over my bloodwork with me. The exam part of my visit was about 2 minutes (if even). They do not make you put on a hospital gown. Checked my heart/lungs, looked at my throat and ears and that was it. I do not think the doctor is very thorough. I am in my 50's and I think I need a better exam than this.

Dr. Massar consistently runs 45 minutes late, or more. My most recent visit, I asked the front office staff if something was going and if she was running late and one responded with "its not as bad as it was yesterday," Dr. Massar herself told me in these words, "we're not sitting around twiddling our thumbs. We work in healthcare and sometimes that means we run late. Most of my patients do not only have one thing wrong with them, they have multiple and if you do not like it, you can leave." I waited over an hour to see her and this was all said to me before she even examined me. Needless to say, I will never, ever be treated this way and I will never, ever see her again.

Dr. Massar was our family internist/doctor for three years. We recently moved out of the city and leaving her and her superb care was very hard for us. She and her staff provide exceptional care in a loving, professional atmosphere. She was able to diagnose and treat a serious autoimmune disease my wife had that other physicians missed for two years. We have referred relatives and friends/work associates to her office for years and will continue to "sing her praises" even though we are miles away. When we moved, Dr. Massar asked us to stay in touch with her; to let her know how we are doing, which we do. We recommend Dr. Janna Massar and are confident that you will agree that anyone in her practice is blessed to be a patient of such an exceptional doctor.

Dr Massar is phenomenal. She spends a lot of time with me each visit. Today I had an annual exam...we reviewed the bloodwork that was taken (in her office) last week. I was pleased to learn that the over the counter cholesterol lowering regime (Red Yeast Rice) she prescribed me last year did the trick. She also diagnosed my hip bursitis (I thought it was arthritis) and gave me a cortisone shot while there. I am now pain free. She always looks for generic, or over the counter remedies before prescribing meds. I love that about her. I also had a bone density test and an EKG while there. She's just great!
