Both of my children have been hospitalized because of her. Three years ago my daughter had a fever for over a week and was seen by Dr. Degrenier twice, the third time we went back someone else saw her and my 8 year old daughter spent almost a week at the pediatric unit in Pittsfield with bad pneumonia. Should have learned from that. The second was recently with my son. Fever for six days and when the other doctor saw him we went straight to the ER. Never again!

We were on vacation in the area, and our 20-month old daughter came down with a very high fever. Dr. DeGranier saw us on short notice, and was terrific with our daughter. She exhibited excellent clinical knowledge and combined that with a sensitivity towards our little girl. If we lived in the area I would happily use her as our regular pediatrician.
