Dr. Wong is very rude, and he has spent little time with me during my multiple appointments. He accused me of smoking, which I didn't appreciate because I do not smoke, and nobody in my household does. That statement/question was inappropriate and unprofessional and had nothing to do with my reason for being there. I have multiple times had to explain how I obtained my injury and have had both Dr. Wong and another of his staff members imply that they don't believe me, which is absurd. It is difficult enough living with an injury, but it is insulting to have the "professional" who is supposed to be helping you not believe you when you tell them what happened to you. I do not recommend him to anybody unless you want to be insulted and asked multiple times to leave him a good review online. Ridiculous and rude.

I am an active duty service member new to the area. I chose Dr. Wong to perform an ACL reconstruction from a ski injury a couple months prior. During my first visit, I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time. I was then told by the XRay tech that Dr. Wong probably wouldn't see me because I didn't have the Dr's notes from my MRI results - even though I had a copy of my MRI on disc and was only told to bring that. After refusing to leave without being seen by Dr. Wong, I waited another 20 minutes in the patient room. Dr. Wong came in with a student and was very short in conversation and didn't look at me when he was discussing my injury and treatment plan. He seemed to be very busy and borderline arrogant with discussing his education and patients/athletes that he treats. I didn't get a good feeling from him, but decided to stick with him based off of how well he was rated on this site and it is my knee that most concerned me...not his bedside manner. BIG MISTAKE! He told me that he wouldn't perform surgery until I had a full range of motion and sent me to physical therapy - that was the only good thing that he did. I followed up after a month of PT and regaining my range of motion. He had the notes for my MRI faxed over from my Primary Care Provider (he had the day after my first appointment). He proceeded to tell me that I have a "bad" knee and I need to just change my lifestyle. I am 39 years old, active duty army, run marathons, love to ski and hike. I was devastated and nearly in tears. He said that I have arthritis in my knee and I only have a 50/50 chance of surgery working. He didn't even give me the option of choosing what I wanted. He said he's old and likes to only do surgeries where there's a 90% chance of recovery. I wondered if this is what he told all of the athletes that he cared for. I refused to accept that I just needed to bike and swim. I am no service to the army if I cannot deploy or train troops nor will I be happy not doing the things I love outdoors. I went to another Dr who said I have a high chance of recovery and scheduled me for surgery a week later. I definitely DO NOT recommend this surgeon. Save yourself some time and go to another provider.

The people leaving these good reviews must be his family members. That was the worst dr office I've ever been to. The person taking the X-ray was the same person who had just dumped the trash. The dr stared at his computer the entire time he talked to me. He was very rude to his student in the room. I will never go to see that dr again. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment. People don't come back!!!!

I was impressed after my first visit with Dr. Wong. I haven't had much luck with orthopedic surgeons before, but he took a great deal of time to make sure I understood my condition and the treatment. His staff was very caring and considerate. Everyone was very friendly. I feel optimistic about my treatment and feel that Dr. Wong will do his very best to give me a good outcome.

Great Dr. and staff! Very caring and knowledgeable. My husband is a patient of Dr. Wong and has been for almost a year. Dr. Wong is an amazing Dr. that our family would highly recommend. He and his staff are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explains everything and truly does seem to care about his patients well being. Patient confidentiality is always of utmost concern as well. He is a Dr. that we would trust and will always go back to and recommend to friends and family.
