There is an arrogance I haven't found even with full professor types at MGH, as if certain things are just beneath her. It's a long wait ,and then not so helpful.I think there are certain things that interest her, and the rest she passes on. Happily I did find more compassion and other ideas elsewhere in the area.

I agree with what another here said "If you don't mind waiting six months or more for an appointment. She is generous with her (limited) time during appointments and does not presume you are an idiot, which I found refreshing." She absolutely knows her stuff. My only "negative" comment is she may come across as a little "quirky", but many brilliant people are. I was a little bummed that she had not read what I had sent in advance -- but that may the systems' fault -- but she took the time to read it carefully while I was there.

OUTSTANDING IMO. I'd not look elsewhere having seen her already. Online is full of derogatory haters if one's not another sheeple.

She seemed to think I was not worth her time. I waited over a year for an appointment, then she was with me for maybe 15 minutes. During that time she was distracted and did not seem to be listening to me.

This Dr is a dumb as a brick. She could not diagnose a cough in her own mother.

If you have intractable pain, this is the person to see. She appreciates the complications of pain and is brilliant at identifying the sources. Above all, she understands the way pain impacts lives and makes sound suggestions that aid in remaining productive in spite of the problems. Worth waiting to see!
