Run the other way if Barwick is on call when you get to LMC. He ignored clinical evidence and told me he was sure I had cancer--with absolutely no clinical evidence. He put me through tests that were unnecessary and after each one was negative still said I likely had cancer. He kept me in the hospital for 4 days when my symptoms resolved in 2. I did NOT have cancer. I do not think a doctor should ever tell patients they have cancer unless they have real clinical evidence. He was also condescending and patronizing in encounters, and dismissed my own health knowledge and my knowledge of my own body and risk factors.

So pleased with the results of my surgery with Dr. Barwick. He explained everything that would happen in a pre-surgery visit and answered all of my questions. So when the day of surgery came, I was totally comfortable with the procedure and knew I was in good hands. Dr. Barwick is very caring, competent and also has a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him and Lexington Medical.

My wife and I both have had surgery performed by Dr. Barwick. As a health professional myself I greatly appreciate Dr. Barwick's professionalism and surgical skill. I enthusiastically recommend him without reservation.
