My name is Maya Sari Ahmed. It took two visits for a total of $400 to be properly diagnosed as bipolar by Dr. Jusino. On my first visit, he dismissed me saying it was probably all the Tinder swiping and that I should check my Vitamin D levels. I could not afford to go back for follow ups at the time. My mania got worse from work related stressors and I went back again with my brother who is a doctor. I was finally properly diagnosed the second visit as bipolar II. When I attempted to follow up with him to get my medication adjusted, I could not get a hold of him. He ignored both of my voicemails. I would not recommend placing your mental health care in this doctor’s hands.
