He was my OBGYN with my son four years ago, he spent time listening to me and asking me thoughtful questions about my wishes and expectations and how I was feeling throughout my pregnancy. He was the one to deliver my baby and although things didn't happen the way I dreamed they would (needed a c-section after a few days laboring) he was very respectful of my desire to continue trying to have my son naturally even when it was apparent that was becoming very unlikely and only became persistent when it became a health concern, which he very kindly but candidly explained to me in real time, and had already gone over the possibility of this outcome with me during one of our many "what-if" conversations. He was patient, personable, and caring. I highly recommend him.

As a first time mother, this was by far the worst OBGYN experience. I felt rushed, talked down to, and made to feel like I was crazy for asking questions about labor and delivery when I’m “only” 24 weeks. When I told him I didn’t like how this experience went he tried to back track but still barely answered any questions. Our appointment was only half an hour — 15 minutes and 2 questions in he already seemed annoyed. I do not think he saw me as a human but rather as an appointment he needed to get through. He is clearly in the wrong profession if he doesn’t have the time to answer questions. Pregnant or not, I will never be seeing him again.

Dr. Friedes is awesome. He's approachable and never talks down to patients, and he'll call you at home if he's concerned you might be alarmed by a test result that shows up on your patient web account before he has an appointment with you. I'm currently pregnant with twins, and I'd be lost without him.

Dr. Friedes is AMAZING!!! I have referred several people to him because he's awesome. He is very knowledgeable and will answer every question that you have. He spends a great deal of time with each patient. Some people are apprehensive with a male gynecologist, but he knows his stuff. He is known to personally call patients if there is a problem (which is a rarity nowadays). I LOVE him :)
