Dr. Tegan Blackbird was not helpful in the last year of my meeting with him. He had his ideas how my recovery journey should look and did not treat me as an equal member of my treatment team. He forced his agenda on me when I was well enough to decrease my visits by 25%, he suddenly changed his mind without explanation and demanded that I decrease by 50%. It did not seem to matter to him whether or not I was able to keep my emotional balance when he pulled that rug out from under my feet.
