Dr. Abidin is funny; he makes comments that you don’t see coming. His charismatic tendencies compel you to trust him with your life. He knows how to talk...or maybe I am just gullible. Honestly, he’s kind of cute. Let me remind myself to not get surgery just because the doctor is cute. In any case, I might go back to him for further surgery despite not being happy with the initial surgery. Everyone deserves a second chance.. am I right ;)

I had nasal & saliva gland surgery done by Dr. Abidin, don't know what these negative reviewers are talking about, my experience was excellent. He was very helpful & informative during every visit pre & post operation, & I got the "vibe" (for lack of a better word that I hate--see below) that he was a great guy. Staff was also always good & efficient. The closest he got to being "arrogant" with me was saying not to worry cuz he'd performed the surgery a 1000 times & had yet to mess one up. As far as his bedside manner, I found him hilarious. And as far as "vibe" goes, I'm pretty sure he's not a hippie so maybe that's part of the problem here...

I was OK when I came to see Abidin with a small nasal problem. Two days after I left I developed a terrible cough which has lingered for two months. I believe that this due to cause and effect. My feeling that he made things worse when poking around. You would like your doctor to listen to what you have to say about your symptoms/conditions. This is NOT the case I experienced with Abidin. Is this a Diety Syndrome? A legend in his own mind? I am unimpressed and will not return. Now I need a good ENT to cure what I have been suffering with since my encounter with Abidin.

Dr. Abidin has saved my life. I have a congenital ear that, over the years, seems to have affected my sinuses then lungs. In the past 20 year, he has performed 7 major surgeries on my sinuses, deviated septum, and ear/mastoid. I am a tough patient that has trouble healing and yet he is so patient, understanding, and competent. He is an incredible surgeon and a very Out-of-the-box-thinker. He listens carefully to my symptoms and is adept at determining the root cause. You can't say that about many doctors. He has at least gotten my ears and sinuses to a point where i can manage them. He is truly the best and routinely takes the most complex patients. He has the type of skill and courage that is needed to help those patients. I trust him so much i let him operate on my son as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Abidin for over 17 years. He always remembers everything about me and my family (all of us go to his practice). He's a great doctor with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

My son had sinus surgery by Dr. Abidin, and his overly aggressive, distracted, and unnecessarily numerous follow-up procedures caused my son to be in two emergency rooms and a three-day hospitalization. He will spend more time telling you how brilliant and successful he is, but he does not pay attention to the patient or what he is doing in his procedures. There are better, competent and more skilled doctors who pay attention in the practice.
