Do not trust. He gave a patient empty nose syndrome from the terrible job of surgery that he did. He also refuses to acknowledge the harm he brought to this patient. He belongs in prison getting his senile skull bashed in on a daily basis.

Due to repeated ear infections and complications that arose from them, my daughter had tubes inserted into her ears when she was two. About two years later, one of the tubes was found to have lodged in the ear, as happens on occasion. Dr. Horwitz removed the tube without incident, which is what would be expected from a competent practitioner. But it was his ability to accommodate my particular situation that sets him apart from the ordinary. It's been almost twenty years now, but Dr. Horwitz remains in my mind not only an exemplary doctor and an extraordinary man.

I would caution everyone who reads this to find a different physician. There are many qualified, board-certified ENTs out there and my dad's experience should be a caution to everyone. Even if you choose to not believe everything I'm writing here, why take a chance? Dr. Horwitz attempted a surgical procedure on my dad that went terribly wrong. Immediately upon his waking up from the anesthesia, my father knew there was a problem, and he's been suffering ever since. As best as we can tell, his vagal nerve was damaged during the procedure and my dad now suffers from gastroparesis and fibromyalgia. He went from jogging 2-3 miles 3-4 times per week to being afraid to leave the house, suffers from constant nausea and abdominal pain, fecal incontinence and a myriad of other GI problems. This, in addition to the fibromyalgia pain. We firmly believe Dr. Horwitz knows what went wrong, but he's never acknowledged it. Watching my dad suffer is heartbreaking. There are many better docs out there

Dr. Horowitz did a deviated septum surgery on me. He was friendly, helpful, and honest. The surgery hasn't helped as much as I'd hoped, but it did help. I've gone back a couple times to get the nose checked on and he has been helpful with those. I reccomend going to see him.

My daughter had a tonsilectomy which he recommended. It did not help in the least with her nose and throat problems, and she had a blod clot during the operation, which was scary but probably not his fault. He was very nice and seemed caring, but I was disappointed the surgery did not help at all. I was also disappointed that in the midst of treatment, the hospital he was associated with was no longer one our insurance covered, and he didn't help with the problem.

I had gone to other doctors with a problem, and someone had suggested him. I was hesitant, because of the distance factor. Well, he fixed me up in one visit! Very friendly, listens, great funny staff-like going to second city. Longish wait, but worth it.
