I have meant to write a review since my laminectomy September 9, 2021.
Dr. Härtl did a phenomenal job and he gave me my life back, pain free and mobile, so I was just so busy doing exactly that: living life again and continuing to enjoy every moment of it. Finally I realized he deserves all the credit and I want it to be known.
As a physician myself I trusted Dr. Härtl's very capable hands and he deserves the highest accolades.

I am not one who likes to leave good or bad reviews for anything but I feel compelled to do so here. I needed a Microdiscectomy and I performed extensive research as to who the best Doctors were at performing this procedure. I met with 3 Doctors. All of them were regarded as the best of the best by any objective international standard. When I went to Dr. Hartl's office, the moment I walked in the door I was met by a caring and gracious staff from the receptionist, billing coordinator, NP's, and Doctors. Then I met Dr. Hartl. I knew he was incredible at his craft as his patients include famous athletes and celebrities who have the wealth and means to choose anyone and they selected Dr. Hartl. What struck me right away was his humility and kindness. He patiently answered all of my questions. It’s not so much what he said that convinced me that my search was over. It was the feeling you get when you are in the presence of someone that genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing. I am a 44-year husband and father of 2 small children. I had the procedure done 5 weeks ago. The operation was flawless. I went from not being able to walk more than 50 feet because of my L4/L5 disc protrusion to walking out of the hospital a few hours post-surgery. While they gave me strong opioids for 20 days, I never needed any and was off of all medication 3 days post-surgery. Thanks to Dr. Hartl, I am on a great recovery path and can play with my small children without any pain. I am happy again. I will never forget the compassion and expertise of Dr. Hartl's team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Robert Z.

the worst surgeon in the city, surgery resulted in a paralyzed shoulder and bicep. Complete loss of sensation or feeling Absolutely ruined my life. Don't give credit to his website. his staff is thee worst ever. Foreign surgeons are a great risk and they come to NY and make a fortune.. These surgeons who leave the patient worse off should be held accountable. I don't know how he sleeps at night.
