I saw this "doctor" for help with coping with cancer. She turned me away without offering to help me find a doctor. Her bedside manner is curt and unprofessional. Basically she is in the wrong profession because she is uncaring and unwilling to help patients in need. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone suffering.

I needed near emergency type of help and was turned away because of where I work and told to find someone else on my own. Instead, a suitable Doctor referal should have been provided to me. I will never recommend anyone to Doctor Thompsonfor help, in fact I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to see her for help if needed.

My clinical interest is in psychosocial oncology. I provide outpatient assessment and treatment services to address patients' emotional concerns related to cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. My focus is on providing support, managing symptoms such as depressed mood, anxiety, and sleep difficulty, and improving coping skills. I am also the Director of the Integrative Medicine Service, which offers massage, Yoga, meditation, and acupuncture services.
