I’ve been a patient of Dr. Smith since 2012 & the ONLY bad visit that I had was with a Nurse Practitioner who is no longer there. Dr. Smith is very thorough with his exam & assessment. He will not hesitate to order any treatment, Physical Therapy, new meds, assistive devices, that will increase mobility, alleviate pain & improve my quality of life. The staff have almost always returned calls - for about a month, they were short staffed. If I’ve had any concern whatsoever, he addressed before my next appt or sooner. I cannot imagine any other physician managing the physical challenges of my disease(s) process. He also works with my other physicians with disease management & setting goals towards improving my quality of life. He, working together with my other physicians, got me up out of bed & FINALLY living a better life. I would recommend him to anyone. If you don’t request to be seen by him exclusively, you may be see one of his PAs. This happened only once with me & when I requested to be seen only by Dr. Smith, I was accommodated without any problems whatsoever. Blessings!

After seeing Billy Smith whom I was very happy with I was transferred to Tracy Smith A total nightmare. He called me a drug addict then increased my meds?? He had me crying this office. Felt some bad vibes so checked medical board and Tracy is in there 20 TIMES. Inappropriate touching having intimate encounters in office with patients and getting a patient drunk in a bar on meds he prescribed that weren't to be fixed with alcohol. He took her to his office same night and had intimate encounter with her. Caught stalking and sending text messages after 1 am to a patient he lied to and said he was separated from his wife. Caught lying under oath . I don't know if Billy knows all of this but I was told by staff he didn't take phone calls so I had to write him. I don't believe the letter ever got to him. Tracy has'ruined 14 yrs of my perfect medical records. He served papers on me bc I called the office too many times to ask for my medical records and NOBODY would call me back. I saw him 4 times and called office to please put me back with Billy bc Tracy undermines. Everything Billy gives you Tracy goes before office staff laughing and joking but not so much behind closed doors. I told him I read some bad reviews on him and he looked at me and said Get out of my office now and had cops called. I have suffered from all of this. I did nothing wrong. He has had papers served on me for protective order and I haven't seen or talked to him since last visit. And for the absolute insanely crazy thing he put in protective order was non consensual ses conduct????? Can't use actual word but starts with S and ends with x. Don't know weather to laugh or cry. Remember you can't talk to Drs here not even your Pc Dr can talk to them. So how did I stalk this Dr??? Lie after lie in papers served on me. Don't know what he will try to do if he sees this review but I know my rights. Freedom of speech and telling truth. This does not apply to Billy Smith but Tracy has removed his website?? Check NC Medical Board anytime you see a new Dr. It's public record.

I was seeing Billy Smith when I first started going here. I was very happy with him. He is very soft spoken and tries to find what works for you and doesn't copycat what he gives someone else. He is very professional and has great bed side manners. He finally had me doing much better after trial and error. I unfortunately was put with Tracey Smith and we just didn't see eye to eye and he discharged me. I have been so sick I don't even feel like or have the energy to go Dr hunting again. Have sat in my recliner everyday crying and depressed over how I was done but you aren't allowed to tell your side of the story for your records. Just not fair.

Dr. Billy Smith has no compassion. When a dr. Begins to treat patients like that, it is far beyond time for them to get out of the field of medicine.

The doctors, front desk, and assistants are so polite and helpful. They are a pleasure to work with. They are professional and humors at the same time. They always call me by name and make me feel like my pain matters. I wouldn't trust my pain management with any other office and I have been a patient for over a year! They are the best.

Dr. Don't pay much attention to what you are saying. Staff don't return call. Meds run out because they won't call you back. Act like you don't know what you are talking about. Get dismissed and don't know why. Letter state you can't call or come. You left just hanging

I love the staff and Dr. Smith. I've been through the ringer with surgeries, doctors, and several pain clinics. This one makes me feel welcome, instead of just some young chick (I'm 51)with arthritis. Thank you Dr. Smith and staff for taking care of me.

I am horrified after reading some of the reviews. Dr. Smith has been my pain management doctor for a few years now. He and is staff have always been friendly and understanding. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family in need of the services they offer. They have massage therapy and I believe will soon offer physical therapy. The office is clean, staff is friendly and I very seldom have to wait longer then 10 minutes to see the doctor. MB

This physician is my grown daughter's doctor. I am concerned that he is prescribing medications that may be inappropriate for a substance abuser. I've left messages with his medical assistant about my concerns but have not received callbacks. I understand that because of HIPAA laws the office cannot discuss her care with me. I can only give them information. But I'm concerned that he may still be prescribing these types of medications for her. Doesn't seem like a trustworthy physician.
