It has been some time since I went to Lisa Anthony. She was unwilling or unable to treat more than one issue per visit. She was like a sponge, trying to soak up my money. She was apparently unable to keep any office staff as there was never any person in her office doing clerical work.

Dr. Anthony was exceedingly rude and hateful. The last two posters PERFECTLY described her. I too got a letter informing me that she was firing me as a patient because I just wanted to be sick. This was after I told her that I thought it was odd that she chose to add laser hair removal to her family practice. Also, after prescribing me a 3 month supply of birth control, she refused to refill my prescription saying that I needed to come in again for another exam despite the fact my pap and exam were perfectly normal. I told her this didn't make sense and that my insurance will only pay for one women's wellness exam per year. She called me crazy for thinking that she would prescribe me medication without me visiting her. This doctor should be AVOIDED!

I have never had a doctor like this. Extremely moody, rude, disrespectful. She is an internist but listed as a family doctor. Totally unhelpful, a surreal experience. She even makes her office help cry. Shame on you, Lisa Anthony.

my experience with dr. anthony was horrible. the first time i saw her, she was lovely - calm, understanding, took time with me. the next time i went to see her, she was angry with me for crying, for not getting my other doctors' reports sent to her. She accused me of wanting to be sick. I don't know what happened between my first appointment and my second one. She is extremely paranoid and her boundaries regarding what to talk to patients about are non-existent. Each session was a therapy session for her, telling me how hard she worked, no one worked harder, insurance didn't pay her enough. And thankfully, i received a letter from her soon after my second appointment, saying she would no longer be my doctor. She accused me of non-compliance, said i was taking too much medicine, prescribed to me by another doctor. Accused a friend of mine of non-compliance, because she refused to take all that Dr. Anthony prescribed.

Dr. Anthony is very thorough and LISTENS to everything you say. She is very hands on in all aspects of the practice.

Dr. Anthony is the only Dr. I have ever seen who made me feel that I was not just a paying patient but a real person.Her only downfall is that she works herself beyond anormal persons limit.If she continues to put so much of herself into her work I`m afraid she won`t be around to continue to care for my needs.

Dr. Anthony is awesome. Her bedside manner is wonderful, and she is very thorough. She really seems to care!!!
