This doctor has no bedside manner whatsoever. He also knows very little about complicated issues and told me things that were untrue. The first thing he said to me was "how long do you want to live?". The next visit it took me 10 minutes in the pouring rain just to even enter his office. Finally my husband asked what we should do and I entered. In the private office, with the doors shut, I cried and he said to me "you are upsetting the staff. You need to stop this". That was the last time I saw him and I travelled 2 1/2 hours to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. There, all of the doctors and nurses were wonderful. I never cried in a doctor's office again. He also kept on saying out loud such things as "maybe we could try a bone marrow transplant" and then he would answer himself. % minutes later he would say the same thing.
