Dr Moreland has been my kids PCP for several years now. She has always been very engaging and has been attentive to any issues and has provided excellent guidelines and solutions. Because of her level of knowledge and professionalism, I have recently made her my won PCP. Very Happy - Thanks Dr Moreland!!

Dr. Mooreland was our sons doctor in the hospital after giving birth to him we had to see her not by choice!! Our first meeting with her she was very unprofessional, extremely rude and I had completely no trust in this woman with my newborn sons care. I've worked in the medical field for over 10 years and with many physicians and have never met a more incompetent so called doctor. I hope people read her reviews before choosing her as their doctor!! I can not emphasize enough how unsafe I felt with my son in her care.

I called to make an appointment and was put on hold for 12 minutes. 12 minutes! When the guy finally came back on the phone he was very rude to me and told me that there were more important things going on than my phone call. Yes, I will never go back.

Dr. Moreland was my PCP for about 10 years (ages 10-20). I thought she was a wonderful doctor up until the past year or so. The office is also not helpful in scheduling appointments ever since they switched to an outside company. My last appt. with Dr. Moreland was horrible (which was the straw that broke the camel's back...). I have several chronic conditions that were not really under-control. She wanted me to start PT, have an MRI, and see a pain specialist. She told me that they would call me when they set up the appointments...this never happened. After their office several times, I received no calls back and the appts. have still not been made (a year later!). I think that Dr. Moreland is a good diagnostician, she just lacks the knowledge to help with a long-term or chronic problem.

We went to Dr. Moreland for two of my newborn son's well visits, and then promptly found a new pediatrician. She is not up to date on many topics regarding babies. Specifically, she was unaware of current information regarding SIDS and how to reduce the risk. Her lack of current knowledge should have tipped us off, this would have saved us the worry and trouble we experienced at our next visit. Our son is uncircumcised and Dr. Moreland not only retracted his foreskin all the way but also did not recognize that he was uncircumcised. Since this visit we have had to take extra care of our son's penis with greater fear of infection because of her lack of knowledge and carelessness in retracting his foreskin. She was often very degrading in her responses to our questions and seemed to be argumentative with us in her answers. I would not have felt safe leaving my son in her care and that is not the kind of doctor any parent should choose for their child.

I took my son in several times as a young infant with significant GI symptoms. She told me on about the fourth visit for the same symptoms that he might just have mild colic. When she finally referred us to a GI specialist, he diagnosed him with a protein allergy within a minute of hearing his symptoms. Recently, my 14 month old has had a low grade fever for 5 weeks, after taking him in 3 times, the advice to me was to stop taking his temperature so often. I have been a pediatric nurse for 10 yrs and am quite capable of knowing when and how to accurately take a temp. Finally, he broke out in an obvious roseola rash and was diagnosed. I feel the MD does not take parental concerns seriously and my concerns were always discredited, even with my nursing background. I feel a lot of significant symptoms can be missed or ignored because of a lack of concern.
