Dr. Cheerian is very nice, pleasant and professional. The STAFF however is another issue.
You can only leave a voice mail on their answering system in which Jennifer's recording says "I will return your call within 48 hours" - but never does. I consistently have to call back 3 to 4 times over a 3 to 5 day period, pleading for ANYONE to call me back. When explaining my frustration to Dr. Cherian, he says that his staff is really working hard (all this pre-Covid).

Doesn’t seem too interested in patient care. No follow up. Don’t know if it’s the staff or him. Also can’t seem to get him to return calls. Very frustrating. He does rush thru appts. also.

My first visit & Dr. Cherian was Sooo nice & very informative & willing to explain medical terms so I could better understand!

Dr Cherian is an excellent and knowledgeable nephrologist. The only problem we have encountered is the terrible support staff at the Renal Medicine clinic. The staff is unresponsive to the patient and it takes multiple phone calls just to get a prescription filled. Great doctor - bad clinic staff.

Dr. Cherian is outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable about current and future research in nephrology. He has an excellent patient/doctor manner; he is empathetic and compassionate, and he is in his patient's corner. I can't say enough good about the RMA doctors!
