Do your research. I wouldn’t let this doc operate on my dog let alone my daughter’s colon. Horrible experience. The worst. Wanted to cut my 24 year old daughter’s whole colon out without a second surgical opinion and without exhausting all other options of care. If he wants to operate on your colon I would do your research. We also thought he was deceiving too. He said my daughter agreed to the surgery. However he failed to tell her that that meant she would have a colostomy bag for most likely the rest of her life. Small detail? Unacceptable! When I asked him to go back and explain that to my daughter, she did not agree with the surgery. Needless to say, we transferred out of Dublin Methodist. We felt that she was just a number to this doctor. His bedside manner is just a slight bit better than his transparency. I would give

I liked him a lot. strong personality. confident without being cocky. He did my colon surgery and i was home in 3 days. very little pain since he used small incisions. My husband liked him a lot and will be seeing him for his hernia surgery soon. I am very satisfied with his staff and results.

Excellent surgeon. Compassionate and skilled. I was referrednto him by my PCP. Since my surgery I have called my doctor and thanked him for referring me to Dr Pomerants. He has a great personality, very funny and compassionate. Excellent results. I would recommend him to all.
