This dr is rude, unsympathetic, condescending, and has the personality of dish rag. There are other rheumatologists out there, don’t waste your time with this one. I did.

I agree that Dr. Brown lacks communication skills, but the more I see him , the more I realize that he is actually a caring person and knowledgeable in his field, though I do think there are certain conditions he doesn't quite know how to treat as there cause has yet to be found. I find him to be basically a good dr., but you will have to do the talking.

I found him very knowledgable in his expertise. I've come to realize that autoimmune diseases are very difficult to treat or cure. As a result, I've seen several doctors and he was the best one for me. I have total confidence with all his decisions and will continue to go back.

agree lack of communication, no guidance for treatment plan. very dismissive. wouldnt recommend... felt like a waste of time

Dr. Brown is difficult to communicate with, but I do think he is a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor, perhaps with a quiet or dry sense of humor. It will be the up to you as a patient to ask questions and lead the conversation. His office staff are some of the most warm and caring people I've ever met in a medical setting - they truly do everything they can for you. I've seen Dr. Brown 3 times and I keep returning.

I found this Dr. hard to communicate with. Not helpful with the problem I presented him with. I couldn't recommend him.
