He replaced my left shoulder and I've had great success with it for over a year and a half .

Dr. Kovak needs to listen to a patient. I went to him about a workers comp knee injury. He saw I had a flexion contracture and wanted to push me into a Total knee replacement. The Bureau had already denied my claim. The only DX I was allowed was a meniscus. Dr Kovak would not listen to me. Had he listened to my issues and the fact I have a posterior horn tear which turned into a full radial radial tear that needed a trans tibial tepair. When I did not agree with.a TKA he told.me he did not want.me as his.patient. Poor bedside manner and did not listen to a patient
He could have helped me get the care I wanted and needed but trying to bully.me was not the right thing to do to any patient
Never liked a bully.

He is a really good doctor who fixed the ball on my hip when I broke it.

Dr Kovack is a great surgeon, I wouldn’t go to anyone else for future orthopedic surgeries. My left shoulder had very limited movement and a great amount of pain. My right shoulder wasn’t far behind. Dr Kovack did a total replacement on my left two years ago, the results were great! No pain and total movement, how wonderful! Went back this past October and had the right shoulder totally replaced also. Same wonderful results! Dr Kovack is just a great doctor, very knowledgeable as well as personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone, I am so thankful to have found him.

Dr. Kovacks and his team are tremendous. He has a great sense of humr. He gives options in detail, so that you can make the best decision on course you need to take. He has not only highly reguarded by my husband snd I, but to many people we have referred to hom.

I had fantastic results with total shoulder replacement. Dr. Kovack really knows what he's doing. My shoulder and arm were barely functional before surgery. Now, I'm only a few weeks out and feel like it's a miracle. He and his office are great, but the results are even greater. I can't say enough good things about his skill and caring.

I had Rt shoulder surgery (total arthroscopic biologic shoulder resurfacing) over 4 years ago by Dr Kovack for severe arthritis from years of swimming. It has turned out GREAT! It is like I am a teenager again and after 4 years is still good as new. I would highly recommend Dr Kovack and his staff.

Dr. Kovack and his team provide the type of experience that each person/patient should have. For those that have been told that you really don’t have any more options for your shoulders please go see him as you won’t be disappointed. Shoulder resurfacing provides options for those with no options so thank you. He is the kind of surgeon/physician who takes to the time to formulate treatment plans with realistic expectations that can give you your life back. He does this without making you feel “rushed” or “just a number” and really takes the time during your visit. My shoulder feels better today than it has in over 15years. It is amazing what we learn to live with and to get range of motion, strength back after so long is amazing. I am excited to get back to the gym. As a surgeon myself I am grateful for surgeons/physicians that still practice this way. For those who have shoulder problems and are looking for a better experience make the call, take the drive, catch the flight to see him. Thanks again and I will be sending people your way.

I cannot day enough great things about this man!! I had been having trouble with my shoulder ( in my younger days, I was a Certified Raft Guide) and Dr. Kovack not only got me in quickly, he was punctual, professional, kind & understanding, and his bedside manor is the best!! If you need a great Ortho-Surgeon, Dr. Kovack is your Doc!!!

The first doctor I saw told me I needed a shoulder replacement. Fortunately, I found Dr. Kovack who did a total shoulder resurfacing and also reattached a torn bicep tendon. 2 months after my surgery I had full range of motion and I could complete daily activities with ease that I couldn't do before surgery. Dr. Kovack and his staff are excellent to work with. Anthony Long and Tyler Hanson are fantastic physical therapists who helped me throughout the entire PT process. I highly recommend Dr. Kovack and his entire staff.
