I am a 67 year old woman. I searched everywhere for a Doctor who can help me with the agonizing pain I suffered from for sometime. I got a recommendation finally! I have been seeing Dr. Rubin for eleven years. My pain unfortunately is permanent. With Dr. Rubins' tremendous knowledge, compassion, understanding, and kindness he has helped me to enter into society with much less pain and an understanding of all my pain, and a reason to realize how wonderful it is with my pain under control. I want to thank Dr. Rubin for helping me to feel better, his kindness, and superb understanding of not only myself, but other patients. His staff is also superb!! I would like to thank Christine who has helpeme. She is part of his staff, and I know her since I started. The rest of his staff gets a superb thumbs also.
With all my heart, and experience I recommend DR. RUBIN highly!!

I have been a patient for over a decade now! He is extremely knowledgeable- finding new effective innovated ways of treating pain. He is completely restored my quality of life. I am back to living the life I had prior to getting ill.

Insurance & Billing Nightmare, STAY AWAY!! While medically he was okay (some short-term relief), the incompetence of his billing staff is a disaster. He has three separate offices for handling billing and checks, and no one knows what the others are doing. Though his personnel assured me that he was in-network for me, my insurance company reimbursed Rubin as out-of-network, leaving a $1000 gap! His billing office told me, "we don't care what they said, you owe us $1000". The problem was solved by my insurance company (Rubin's people were clueless and uncaring), figuring out that Rubin's billing had been done by the wrong office with the wrong codes. So now I've got 2 threatening notices from my insurance company, praying that they register the fixed payment in their system before sending their collection people after me and destroying my credit rating. The irony? I went to Ed Rubin to relieve the pain in my back; but what I've gotten for the last year is a huge pain in my butt.
