Why do so many anesthesiologists have zero personality? Patients are most scared of anesthesia, usually not the surgical procedure as they already love their doctor. But the anesthesiologist is very important to the patient. This doctor is very knowledgeable, however, he is not warm, comforting, patient, or supportive. He puts you out and that's that. (I'm not the only patient to say this). And.... then when you are out, he takes off and gets coffee and trots around leaving the anesthesiologist nurse to stay in the operating room. Last I looked, my insurance was paying him for his services. he should sit there and read a book! Arrogance!
